GOP Sees It Slipping Away

From the D&C Political Blog:

The chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee said Monday that the House seat being vacated by retiring GOP Congressman Jim Walsh of Onondaga will be a tough one for the Republicans to hold on.

"That (finding a GOP candidate) has not sorted itself out as well as we would like," NRCC Chairman Tom Cole told reporters at a breakfast meeting. "An open Republican seat is always a priority seat, but it's a tough seat for us. It's one that has moved away from us rather than toward us."

Hat tip to Rochester Turning.

This is just the things Driscoll needs to read to make him run. This is great, his ego will make him Primary Maffei. Hope I'm wrong.
