And Driscoll is Out

A press release sent to CBS5 this morning indicated Mayor Matt Driscoll, after considering a possible congressional bid for the past month, will not enter the race for the 25th district.

The Mayor says it came down to two things: his family and his party. Driscoll adds he was concerned about being away from his family, and also the potential impact a primary would have on the democratic party.

Go Dan!!!!

Channel 9 just ran a story saying Cappuccilli would not run a primary if he doesn't get the nomination (which we knew), but that Randy Wolken is making no such promise. Interesting.

No great deductive power needed here. Cappuccilli expects to win the Republican designation and Randy Wolken doesn't. There are a lot of people who think that Cappy is the guy, even wanted him to run for Mayor though he doesn't live in Syracuse. I don't get it because his claim to fame is he didn't screw up the improvements that Wayne Gallagher made at the Fair.

If Wolken isn't planning to run a primary, there's no point to even having a campaign. And this is truly an ego trip for Wolken, just like his "campaign" for Mayor in 2005.

If Maffei could not win in 2006 with everything in his favor then he won't win now. Go walsh go!

Go Walsh go? You do know he resigned, right?

Trust me the RCCC hates seeing Maffei in this race because they know he is a campaigner.

This seat goes blue be it Driscoll,Miner,Magna..well not that one but you get my point.
