Walsh says Waterboarding is not torture

LaFayette resident John Freie asked Walsh whether he thought waterboarding is a
form of torture. Walsh said no. Waterboarding is a controversial interrogation technique. Some are trying to ban its use by U.S. personnel because it makes the people being questioned feel like they're drowning. "From what I know of it, and I haven't seen it or experienced it, I don't believe it is (torture)," Walsh said. "It is right on the margin."
