Another day, another post about Democracy Corps, who were nice enough to thank me in the comments the other day! This time they have a poll from the 70 most competitive Congressional Districts, 35 Dem districts, 35 Rep distrists. Some interesting findings:
- Republican obstructionism is making voters want to elect more Democrats to Congress and elect a Democratic President.
- Republicans in Republican districts are trailing generic Democrats by 5 points and have a re-elect of just 37%.
- Even though the new Democratic Congress has lost some of its luster, the Republicans in Congress have reach their lowest point since Watergate.
