NY Times Write Up

It's an interesting read. Two points of contention though.

First, Walsh brought up the infamous infant hearing screening which he used in an ad last year, and cited it as an example of how he can work while in the minority. One problem, its just not true. Not only did Walsh's bill never pass, the last 3 times he sponsored it was while there was a Republican Majority, and when a similar bill did pass, it was authored by another Republican.

Second, if this is him raising money like mad, he's going to be easier to beat than I thought.

Definitely an interesting story. I thought they were a little too nice to Walsh, though they did point out that he didn't care to attend any town hall-type meetings with constituents until he was in danger.

Perhaps it wasn't wise for him to be so flippant about his absence from actually talking to people.

what about the article on the front page of the Sub-Standard today? Gage is recycling the same old crap about all of Dan's money coming from the so-called liberal elite in Hollywood, D.C. and NYC, claims all of Dan's local money came from his family (but I thought he had no local connection according to Walsh) and that he has no real support. I guess all that PAC money Walsh picked up was local PAC money! And I guess a 1500 vote difference for a nine term incumbent in the majority (at the time)is indicative of how little local support Dan has (guess he has a really LARGE family!).
