Jim's Gotten 7% Better

So in the last Congress, Jim Walsh was voting the party line 91% of the time. You'd think after taking just 51% of the vote and proclaiming himself a moderate in front of every TV camera he can find, Walsh would be a new man. Wrong he's just 7% new. Looking at the votes Walsh has taken so far, after removing votes on things like congradulating sports teams, Walsh is voting the Republican line 84% of the time. So anyone hoping we'd see a post-election conversion to common sense by Walsh is out of luck, he is still a loyal Republican foot soldier.

Has Walsh held a 07 town hall meeting? If he does please inform us of where and when.

Good luck finding a fictional meeting like that... Walsh isn't going to come to Syracuse, Rochester or anything in between until it time to raise money for '08

Someone asked me about this when I first started the blog. I looked into it and it seems finding Jim Walsh in a town hall meeting is about as unlikely as seeing a UFO.

Question - 7% better is not good enough for the electorate in NY-25, but how good is it compared to other Republicans? Are the others who barely survived voting in the 80s now too, or does Walsh look like a total moderate compared to the rest of his party?
