Walsh Calls Violate FCC Law

It turns out the calls being made on Jim Walsh's behalf violate federal communication law:

(d) All artificial or prerecorded telephone messages delivered by an automatic telephone dialing system shall:
(1) At the beginning of the message, state clearly the identity of the business, individual, or other entity initiating the call

It's a shame Wimpy Walsh doesn't have the courage to tell his Washington allies not to break federal law on his behalf.

Here is an ABC News story about the wider campaign by the Republicans.

Just to hear with your own ears this blatant violation of FCC law, listen to this mp3. Sorry about the quality, it was recorded from an answering machine.

Compaints to the attorny general of NH stopped the robo calls there.

"Under New Hampshire law, political campaigns can contact people on the do-not-call list, but cannot use automated recordings."

If NY has a similar rule the attorey general in Albany should be contacted asap.
