Tonight's Debate

In tonight's debate Jim Walsh said that he would answer any question and meet with any person, friend or foe, liberal or conservative. Seems to me that we are going to find out just how steadfast Mr. Walsh is in that policy when I ask him to submit to an interview.

I'm going to send it to Walsh tomorrow, so if you have any ideas for questions, put them in the comments.

Walsh is so out of touch he probably will agree to it!

Similarily, if Walsh had any sense or knew Dan Maffei, he would never had agreed to 4 debates. Look at the difference between the 1st debate and the 4th- Dan is a quick study and has gotten better each time. Tonight, he won, hands down.

It is too early to start pouring the champagn. The rank and file voters probably missed this excellent performance by Dan and this thrashing of Walsh. Nevertheless, there is no doubt Maffei is an excellent candidate and this may be the best chance ever to beat him.

Yeah, I got a question for Jimmy.

Why does he cry and suck his thumb about ads against him (ones that don't come from Maffei's campaign, BTW), but then airs ads that are outright LIES about Dan? Namely, the bs tax ad that Walsh is running. And the multiple ads that Dan isn't from the area.

*You might want to clean that up a bit, lol.

More to the point, that ad cites Dan's website as the source of the $2000 claim. When is someone in the press going to ask him exactly what on that website he is citing? HE HAS NO ANSWER, because there is nothing there remotely like that. It is JUST A LIE.

Ask Mr Walsh how he can criticize Dan for wanting to investigate the President when Walsh himself voted to IMPEACH President Clinton for something that absolutely nothing to do with our national security.

When Jim Walsh loses this race, people are going to look back at how he answered that question tonight about the Iraq war. He had a chance to say something straight to the people of this district, and what did he do? He talked about a ten year old peice of legislation he sponsored for infant hearing screening. When Dean McClure gave him another chance to save himself, all he could say was that Hillary Clinton voted for it too. Mr. Walsh, if that is all you have to say about your represention of us in matters of life and death, you you have ceded your own irrelevance.

Something that might be of interest is that walsh is putting out a glossy brochure of him in the district. One picture is of lemoyne college, yet he repeatedly refused to come to lemoyne this election year if he would be forced to take questions from the students. Following the debate afew lemoyne students approached walsh and after listening to what they had to say brushed them aside saying that he'd "talk to father beirne" (lemoyne college president). Completely outrageous, i hope this man goes down.

Ask Jimmy how much the Jeep he drives costs taxpayers every year in addition to his $168,500 a year salary...
