My Questions to Walsh

Dear Mr. Walsh,

In your most recent debate, you stated that you would answer questions from anyone friend or foe. While I do fall in the latter camp, I thought I would take you up on your offer. I have supplied numerous question for you, a prompt response would be much appreciated with the election just days away. Your response will be published on my website unedited. I thank you in advance for honoring your pledge .

Mr. Walsh, you represented a district that voted for Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Al Gore and John Kerry, yet you have voted with George Bush nearly 90% of the time since he has been elected. Do you feel that your constituents really agree with George Bush 90% of the time?

On one side of the stem cell debate is George Bush, Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, on the other is the American Medical Association, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Association for Cancer Research. Are you telling us that George Bush, Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson are more qualified to dictate American policy on stem cell research than the AMA, ADA and AACR?

Mr. Walsh, New York is facing a critical choice for its next governor, however you have been silent on who you are supporting. Who do you think should be the next governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer or John Faso?

One of the first votes you will take if you are re-elect will be for Speaker of the House, would you support Dennis Hastert's re-election as Speaker?

Former Congressman Tom DeLay has been indicted as well as numerous of his former top political aides. Yet, you donated $1,000 to his legal defense fund, why?

In a recent debate, you made reference to Dan Maffei and the possible impeachment of George Bush, and called it extreme. However you yourself voted to impeach Bill Clinton, how is that not extreme?

On your campaign website, you state your position on Ireland, but neglect any mention of Iraq. Is Ireland more important than Iraq?

You've been the Congressman of an economically troubled region for 18 years, yet on your campaign website you have no information on your plan for our economy. Are we to assume you have no plan, or are you keeping it secret?

It's been 5 years, where's Osama?

Your position on abortion is that it should be outlawed even in the case of rape and incest. Who should be imprisoned, the doctors or the women?

Please grade the job George Bush has done in Iraq from A to F.

We now know there weren’t weapons of mass destruction and there was no tie to Al-Qaeda, in Iraq. Would you vote for the War in Iraq if you knew what you know today?

Is global warming real?

Should Creationism be taught along side of evolution in science classes?

You often talk about how important your experience and that we shouldn’t replace you with a freshman. If Dan Maffei defeats we can we expect you to endorse him in all future campaigns in order to allow him to build up the seniority you believe is needed to serve the district?

Watcher,

Have you forwarded this to the SubStandard? It would be great to see this published in the MSM, but I too will not hold my breath.
