Ok, so the poll done by the sub-standard just came out, showing Walsh up by 8 or 9 points. That contradicts all polling efforts so far. If you average these findings with the poll last week, it's a dead heat. Zogby even admitted that the margin of error allowed for a potential dead heat. I'm sure there will be much more analysis on the poll, but I just have to say that I don't want people to be swayed by a poll conducted by Clear Channel and the Sub-Standard!!!! This is a close race - likely a dead heat - and the wind is at the Dems' back this year. AS LONG AS VOTERS BELIEVE IT'S POSSIBLE, MAFFEI WILL WIN THIS ELECTION.

Not only that, but they only called 500 people. That may seem insignificant, but legitimate polls call at least 1,000.

It doesn't matter though. Even if Maffei was up by 10, we'd still need to work like he was 20 behind.

I believe 100% that Dan can win this. Belief alone isn't going to do it. We need to work our asses off for Dan.

I'm still getting info on this. Zogby is an objective pollster, but I think in this poll it is likely the the Republican sample is too heavy.

Ok, that's strange. The poll results on the Post's website have disappeared too. All they have up is a link saying the results will be coming soon.

Can anyone else find the link from either site?

Poll has been scrapped - oversampling of Republicans in district - Zogby screwed up & has appologized - they are redoing the poll - Great news for Dan!

NICE!

I knew there was something screwy about this poll. I mean, good grief, just going out into the "real world" would make one question these poll results.

Any idea when the new poll will be done and released?

In more fun poll news, Chris Bowers says he's gotten hold of a spreadsheet of the 50 top races targeted by the NRSC/NRCC - guess who's on it. You can see the list here. My favorite quote - check the comments section for NY-25 - "internals up 4". Maffei is definitely within striking distance. Kos is saying that the list might be a bit old because it doesn't reflect the NRCC ad-buy in ID-04.
