Come ON!!

If you needed another reason to dislike and dismiss Christina Rosetti, the Rochester D & C provides it:

The 25th Congressional District, which runs from Webster to Syracuse, may have a Working Families Party primary between Democrat Daniel Maffei and authorChristina Rosetti, who currently lives downstate and outside of the district. Rep. James Walsh, R-Onondaga, holds the seat and is seeking re-election.

Unbelievable.

From her website: an attack on Dan Maffei. I guess the question is whether people will support her, or dismiss her. One look at her "spiritual bible" shows (1) she is loony as a tune and (2) she is hardworking and not likely to go away. Also on her site is a quote from Al-Jazeera. What we have here is selfishness incarnate. A vote for her is equivalent to a vote for Republicans. She is willing to destroy all (get Walsh re-elected) for her own selfish ends- the Dems need every vote they can get and this nut isn't helping.

From the nut's website:

"On June 3, 2006, the three Congressional Candidates for the 25th District were interviewed on Channel Three News by Christina Chatalian. I was the first candidate to be interviewed and I made a challenge to all the candidates. I asked that they pledge not to take so much as a single dime (or any gifts) from any lobbyist for any reason, if elected. This pledge included lobbyists from special interests or otherwise. Christina Chatalian then asked Dan Maffei if he would take this pledge. Dan Maffei dodged the question and said “special interest is in the eye of the beholder”.
I asked that candidates take this pledge because of the immense corruption that has beset our Congress. It is all too easy to tell voters what they want to hear, but once in Washington to listen only to those with cash in hand.
Since Dan Maffei has refused to take the pledge and dodged the pledge, then the question then becomes, can we really trust what Dan Maffei says? Will Dan Maffei tell us one thing to get elected, but do the opposite if lobbyists so desire? Only time will tell."
