Wrong Side Walsh

Yesterday Jimbo yet again showed us that when he is in Washington, he is on the side of big business rather than that of Central New Yorkers. Jimbo voted against this amendment:

An amendment to prohibit the use of funds from being made available to enter into any contract with an incorporated entity where such entity's sealed bid or competitive proposal shows that such entity is incorporated or chartered in Bermuda, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Antigua, or Panama.

So there you have it, tax avoiding Big Business 1, honest hardworking taxpayers 0. Thanks Jimbo.

wait. I'm confused.

I specifically remember Jimbo cosponsoring an amendment or bill exactly like this one a few years ago.

And now he's against it? Some good journalist should dig around and this and find out why he's changed his mind...

My guess: Orders from Karl Rove.

Thanks, I'll be sure to take a look into that.
