More Coverage

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle has the fundraising numbers too:

In the 25th District, Rep. James Walsh, R-Onondaga, raised roughly $78,000 during the first quarter and had about $500,000 on hand. He also had nearly $12,000 in debt. Walsh's district runs from Syracuse to Webster.

Among Democratic challengers, Dan Maffei of Syracuse raised about $25,000 more than Walsh, roughly $106,000 total. He had about $175,000 on hand. Democratic candidate Paloma Capanna of Webster raised $15,010, had nearly $88,694 on hand and had about $76,318 in campaign debt, a personal loan she took out for the campaign.
